Dr. Evangelos Panagiotakos - brief curriculum
Dr Panagiotakos completed his medical degree at the University of Torino School of Medicine and specialized in Anesthesia and Intensive Care with Professor Ranieri, University of Torino. He obtained the 2nd Level University Master Degree on Pain Medicine at the University of Parma, directed by prof. Guido Fanelli.
He is working as a freelance Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Physician. From 2009 to 2014 Senior Consultant at the Maria Vittoria Hospital of Torino, Italy. Since 2010, he has been one of the coordinators of the “Pain Service” which runs in the same hospital, under the supervision of Dr Emilpaolo Manno (www.rianimazione.info).
Dr Panagiotakos performs hundreds of clinical evaluations and interventional pain management procedures yearly. He has a special interest in developing curricula that focus on improving the quality of patient’s life.
Founder of Ponos Clinic and co-founder of the Vertebral Equipe Torino.
Member of the International Association for the Study of Pain,the American Pain Society, the Italian Society of Anesthesia, Analgesia and Intensive Care (SIAARTI), the "Hospital with no Pain" Commitee of the Maria Vittoria Hospital (Torino), the Medicina Insieme medical group (www.medicinainsieme.org).
